William “Bill” Joseph Geisz was an early graduate of the program at Kings Point, having secured an appointed as a Cadet-Midshipman (Engine) in the summer of 1941. He sailed in 1943 and continued to do so for the duration of the Second World War; by war’s end he was a First Assistant Engineer with Union Sulphur Co. Later, he was an engineer with Aramco – a position he held until his eventual retirement in 1983.
